Starting in 2016, I conceived, designed, engineered, and led a team to create one of the world's largest Salesforce instances (200K active users) in order to replace Marriott's legacy hotel-based guest service software with a first-of-it's-kind global Salesforce solution. By 2018, my team and I created a new org from scratch to accomplish mobile guest chat and service request which was deplolyed first in the USA.

From 2018 to 2019 , I extended the feature set, we went global and fully replaced the CRM solution for 100% of Marriott brand hotels including a huge data migration from the Ritz-Carlton legacy CRM system. I effectively recreated and improved the old CRM system that I had been supporting for Marriott at HQ from 2009 to 2015.

From 2020 on to 2025, I was the technical leader for new design and day-to-day support of the Marriott Empower Platform which hosts hotel CRM (GXP), all service desk operations for BonVoy (CEC), North America proactive sales application (ARM), reservation booking application, global project management communication tool (Mission Control), and a newly remade Marriott Boutiques e-commerce site. I moved from Sr. Software Engineer to Principal Software Engineer which was a newly created role at Marriott created for me and a few others in 2024.

I have seen almost everything there is to see in Salesforce. I am a competent coder and automater both inside and outside the platform.

I have a Salesforce certification, but more importantly I have a high IQ and excellent communication skills. I have managed on-shore and off-shore Accenture contractors, worked with many auditing companies, dealt with all manner of inter-departmental disputes and I have seen every kind of Salesforce large-scale problem there is. In my spare work time, I wrote off-platform Python and Powershell jobs to automate tasks, monitor features, fix data, and alarm on bad user behavior.
