I am a 22-year experienced IT professional who has spent the last 9 years building and maintaining one of the world's largest Salesforce instances. I am currently seeking new employment after relocating my family to Florida. I have seen Salesforce pushed up to its limits in almost every way, and as the Principal Engineer I was responsible for reviewing and approving the technical designs of junior and senior Engineers for new features as well as all changes related to day-to-day support. I have been leading both off-shore and on-shore Accenture resources since 2016.
In my previous role, I was the sole Principal Engineer on a team of over 60 people working in support of a Salesforce org with 170 thousand full licensed users and over 60 million community/guest users. Starting in 2016, my director and I set out to create a modern CRM solution to cover the guest service needs for all of Marriott's managed and franchised hotels. I went from Engineer to Senior to Principal and was accountable for directing the technical details of all custom solutions. Salesforce went from not having a Hospitality category in their business model to selling every conceivable feature to Marriott’s biggest competitor Hilton by 2023. Two business directors who worked at Marriott HQ with me went on to work for Salesforce and a third took the skills I taught her and went to manage Salesforce instances for MGM in Las Vegas. By 2018, all of Marriott's hotels as well as the global guest service contact center for Marriott’s loyalty service and the North America group sales team were using the org I created.
I have deep experience with the major Salesforce feature set. Mountains of my own code is running outside the platform to manage interfaces, users, groups, health monitoring, and security. I operated in an Agile and scaled agile framework workflow. I was responsible for all audit and security deliverables. I have excellent communication skills, and I am very comfortable listening to and guiding non-technical stakeholders.
Thank you kindly for considering me for this position.
